Ling-Yue Hung (Hong Kong, HKG) qualified for the 2025 Asian Winter Games playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 11-4 against Kyeongae Kim (Gangneung, KOR). of the 2025 Asian Winter Games in Harbin, China;
 
Hung finished 4-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hung defeated Amanda Chou (Keelung/Chiayi Taiwan, TPE) 9-8, then went on to lose 9-3 against Tori Koana (Yamanasshi, JPN). Hung responded with a 11-2 win over Kuwait's Fatema Abdulateef. Hung won 14-5 against Thailand's Chanatip Sonkham, then won 9-2 against Mongolia's Enkhzaya Ganbat in their final qualifying round match.
 
Hung earned 4.500 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Asian Winter Games. For week 28 of the event schedule, Hung did not improve upon their best events, improving from 216th to 214th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 3.000 total points.
