Immonen/Sipila Runner-Up at 2025 Finnish Mixed Doubles Championship

Lotta Immonen/Markus Sipila (Lohja, FIN) lost 7-6 to Tiina Suuripaa/Tomi Rantamaki (Lohja, FIN) in the Final of the Finnish Mixed Doubles Championship, held February 7 - 9, 2025 in Turku, Finland. To advance to the championship game, Immonen/Sipila won 9-4 over Mariia Kiiskinen/Kalle Kiiskinen (Hyvinkaa, FIN) in the semifinals of the 2025 Finnish Mixed Doubles Championship in Turku, Finland;

Immonen/Sipila finished 3-0 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Immonen/Sipila defeated Ida Kokkonen/Kari Kokkonen (Helsinki, FIN) 14-2, then won 6-5 against Susanna Santti/Iikko Santti (Hyvinkaa, FIN) and 8-3 against Kiiskinen/Kiiskinen in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Finnish Mixed Doubles Championship, Immonen/Sipila take home 2.750 world rankings points. For week 28 of the event schedule, Immonen/Sipila did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Immonen/Sipila ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
