Vilmer Nygren (Harnosand, SWE) qualified for the 2025 Swedish Curling Championships playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-2 against Simon Granbom (Gavle, SWE).  
 
Nygren finished 3-1 in the 14-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Nygren defeated Magnus Sjoers (Leksand, SWE) 8-1, then went on to lose 8-1 against Granbom. Nygren responded with a 8-6 win over Markus Sund (Fyris, SWE). Nygren won 8-1 against Emil Markusson (Ostersund, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Nygren earned 3.375 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Swedish Curling Championships. Nygren move up 62 spots after posting a net gain of 2.969 points improving upon their best 8 results so far this season, ranking 163rd overall with 7.313 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Nygren ranks 161st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 7.313 points earned so far this season.
