Emilia Gagne (Quebec, QC) lost 9-2 to Laurie St-Georges (Montreal, QC) in the Final of the Quebec Womens Curling Championship, held January 14 - 19 in Alma, Quebec. To advance to the championship game, Gagne won 9-7 over Jolianne Fortin (Kenogami, QC) in the semifinals of the Quebec Womens Curling Championship in Alma, Quebec;

Gagne finished 3-2 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Gagne defeated Dominique Jean (Montreal, QC) 9-4, then won 9-4 against Anne Sophie Gionest (Riverbend, QC) and 12-8 against Kelsey Boyd (Montreal, QC). Gagne went on to lose 10-5 against Fortin. Gagne lost 8-7 to St-Georges in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Quebec Womens Curling Championship, Gagne take home 2.750 world rankings points, moving up 35 spots the World Ranking Standings into 177th place overall with 5.108 total points. Gagne ranks 188th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 2.750 points earned so far this season.
