Bjoernstad lost 5-4 to Kang where Bjoernstad responded with a 8-7 win over Moa Dryburgh (Sundbyberg , SWE). Bjoernstad won 5-3 against Gray-Withers, then won 8-2 against Julia Dyderska (Warsaw, POL) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their fourth place finish at the FISU World University Games, Bjoernstad take home 8.000 world rankings points, moving up 4 spots the World Ranking Standings into 66th place overall with 45.782 total points.
