John Shaw (Lakefield, CAN) qualified for the 2025 Five-and-Under World Championships playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 4-3 against Austin Binish (Milwaukee, USA).

Shaw finished 2-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Shaw defeated Will Meyer (Oakland, USA) 7-5, then won 7-6 against United States's James-Grant Robertson. Shaw went on to lose 5-4 against Binish in their final qualifying round match.

Shaw ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
