Daniel Humbke (Lacombe, AB) finished 4-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Humbke defeated Jared Jenkins (Calgary, AB) 11-0, then went on to lose 7-4 against Jamie King (Calgary, AB). Humbke responded with a 8-2 win over Rhett Friesz (Airdrie, AB). Humbke won 10-9 against Jenkins, then won 9-4 against Andrew Dunbar (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Boston Pizza Men's Provincial Qualifier Championship title, Humbke earned 2.750 world rankings points. For week 23 of the event schedule, Humbke did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Humbke ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
