Adela Walczak (Lodz, POL) finished 6-1 in the 29-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Walczak defeated
India's Namini Chaudhari 11-1, then won 11-5 against Philippines's Kathleen Dubberstein. Walczak went on to lose 9-5 against Finland's Lotta Immonen. Walczak responded with a 9-6 win over New Zealand's Jessica Smith. Walczak won 14-4 against Rachel Conley (San Juan, PUR), then won 12-3 against Akvile Rykove (Vilnius, LTU) and 10-2 against Ukraine's Oleksandra Kononenko in their final qualifying round match.
 
Walczak earned 4.500 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 19 of the event schedule, Walczak did not improve upon their best events, remaining at 41st place on the World Ranking Standings with 46.388 total points. Walczak ranks 35th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 27.188 points earned so far this season.
