Emma Mueller (Kitzbuehel, AUT) finished 3-3 in the 29-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Mueller defeated
Kyrgystan's Keremet Asanbaeva 10-5, then won 10-0 against Saudi Arabia's Karrie Alaqel. Mueller went on to lose 8-0 against Dilsat Yildiz (ANKARA, TUR). Mueller lost 8-2 to Mexico's Danielle Serra. Mueller lost 6-5 to Ireland's Ailsa Barron where Mueller responded with a 11-9 win over Portugal's Antonieta Martins Ethier in their final qualifying round match.
 
Mueller earned 2.250 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 19 of the event schedule, Mueller did not improve upon their best events, dropping from 160th to 167th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 6.000 total points. Mueller ranks 125th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 6.000 points earned so far this season.
