Reto Seiler (Sofia, BUL) 8-4, then went on to lose 6-4 against Matias Hanninen (Hyvinkaa, FIN). Veltsman lost 10-4 to Konrad Stych (Walbrzych, POL). Veltsman lost 14-8 to Eddy Mercier (Megeve, FRA). Veltsman lost 6-4 to Jacob Schmidt (Hvidovre, DEN). Veltsman lost 7-6 to Ireland's John Wilson where Veltsman responded with a 10-8 win over James Pougher (Hawarden, WAL) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Veltsman earned 0.750 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 17 of the event schedule, Veltsman did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Veltsman ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
