Verreycken won 13-3 against Israel's Alex Pokras, then won 8-7 against Gergely Szabo (Budapest, HUN) and 8-2 against Jakub Jurkovic (Bratislava, SVK). Verreycken won 6-5 against Eduard Nikolov (Kyiv, UKR). Verreycken went on to lose 7-6 against Sergio Vez (San Sebastian, ESP) in their final qualifying round match.

Verreycken earned 3.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Le Gruyere AOP European B Curling Championships. For week 17 of the event schedule, Verreycken did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
