Verena Pfluegler (Kitzbuehel, AUT) finished 3-6 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Pfluegler defeated Yaroslava Kalinichenko (Kyiv, UKR) 12-4, then went on to lose 11-4 against Marusa Gorisek (Ljubljana, SLO). Pfluegler lost 8-7 to Lisenka Bomas (Zoetermeer, NED). Pfluegler lost 6-3 to Sara Messenzehl (Fuessen, GER) where Pfluegler responded with a 7-4 win over Miia Ahrenberg (Lohja, FIN). Pfluegler went on to lose 9-5 against Evita Regza (Riga, LAT). Pfluegler lost 9-5 to Hetty Garnier (Kent, ENG). Pfluegler lost 6-1 to Aneta Lipinska (Lodz, POL) where Pfluegler responded with a 9-4 win over Zuzana Paulova (Prague, CZE) in their final qualifying round match.

Pfluegler earned 1.125 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 17 of the event schedule, Pfluegler did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Pfluegler ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
