Kiist finished 3-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kiist defeated Zach Davies (Edmonton, AB) 7-6, then won 7-1 against Mailloux and 7-4 against Jasper Willkomm (Inuvik, NT) in their final qualifying round match.
