Andie McDonald (Phoenix , AZ) finished 6-0 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, McDonald defeated Megan Stopera (Wayland, MA) 7-4, then won 7-5 against Miranda Scheel (Fargo, ND) and 7-2 against Gracie Kohn (Pardeeville, WI). McDonald won 8-7 against Scheel, then won 7-6 against Stopera and 1-0 against Kohn in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the United States WUG Playdowns Championship title, McDonald earned 3.750 world rankings points. For week 10 of the event schedule, McDonald did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. McDonald ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
