In their opening game, Mercier lost 9-3 to Andrin Schnider (Limmattal, SUI), droppimg another game, 7-2 to Sixten Totzek (Fuessen, GER). Mercier lost 7-1 to Jan Klossner (Lausanne, SUI) where Mercier responded with a 6-5 win over Manuel Jermann (Basel, SUI). Mercier went on to lose 8-4 against Felix Luethold (Wildhaus, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.

Mercier earned 0.563 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 10 of the event schedule, Mercier did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Mercier ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
