Josh Bryden (Regina, SK) won 5-2 over Kenan Wipf (Calgary, AB) in the Final of the Canada West Curling Championships, held January 31 - February 1, 2025 at the Calgary Curling Club in Calgary, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Bryden won 6-4 over Duncan Silversides (Kamloops, BC) in the semifinals of the 2025 Canada West Curling Championships in Calgary, Alberta, Canada;
 
Bryden finished 3-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Bryden defeated Alex Duncan-Wu (Vancouver, BC) 6-1, then won 10-2 against Sam Nygaard (Lethbridge, AB). Bryden went on to lose 4-1 against Wipf. Bryden responded with a 9-2 win over Reid Zingel (Victoria, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Canada West Curling Championships Championship title, Bryden earned 3.750 world rankings points. Bryden move up 5 spots after posting a net gain of -5.328 points improving upon their best 8 results so far this season, ranking 87th overall with 25.813 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Bryden ranks 87th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 25.813 points earned so far this season.
