Holterman/Holtermann finished 4-0 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Holterman/Holtermann defeated Signe Schack/Tobias Thune (Hvidovre, DEN) 9-1, then won 7-5 against Switzerland's Flurina von Gruenigen/Selwyn von Gruenigen and 6-0 against Helen Li/King Yu (Hong Kong, HKG). Holterman/Holtermann won 12-6 against Ukraine's Oleksandra Kononenko/Yaroslav Shchur in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Hvidovre Mixed Doubles Cup, Holterman/Holtermann take home 8.250 world rankings points along with the $1,000CDN prize. For week 31 of the event schedule, Holterman/Holtermann did not improve upon their best events, dropping from 60th to 63rd place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 31.500 total points.
