To advance to the championship game, Nilsson/Olofsson won 7-4 over Emma Erzsebet Szurmay/Bajan Kan Ferenci (Budapest, HUN) in the semifinals of the WCT Austrian Mixed Doubles Cup in Kitzbuehel, Austria; and won 12-6 over Katrina Gaidule/Roberts Buncis (Riga, LAT) in the quarterfinals. of the WCT Austrian Mixed Doubles Cup in Kitzbuehel, Austria;
Nilsson/Olofsson finished 2-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. .
