To advance to the championship game, Yildiz won 5-4 over Marianne Roervik (Lillehammer, NOR) in the semifinals of the Danish Open in Copenhagen, Denmark; and won 8-2 over Aneta Lipinska (Lodz, POL) in the quarterfinals. of the Danish Open in Copenhagen, Denmark;
Yildiz finished 3-1 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Yildiz defeated Liisa Turmann (Tallinn, EST) 10-3, then went on to lose 6-5 against Rebecca Mariani (Trentino, ITA). Yildiz responded with a 12-0 win over Nilla Hallstroem (Harnosand, SWE). Yildiz won 5-4 against Torhild Bjoernstad (Oppdal, NOR) in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the Danish Open, Yildiz take home 13.750 world rankings points along with the $2,000CDN prize. For week 14 of the event schedule, Yildiz did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Yildiz ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
