Scott Jones (Moncton, NB) won 6-1 over Kendal Thompson (Halifax, NS) in the Final of the Superstore Monctonian Challenge, held December 13 - 15, 2024 in Moncton, New Brunswick. To advance to the championship game, Jones won 10-2 over Matthew Manuel (Halifax, NS) in the semifinals of the 2024 Superstore Monctonian Challenge in Moncton, New Brunswick;
 
Jones finished 3-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jones defeated Colten Steele (Dartmouth, NS) 7-3, then went on to lose 6-4 against Brody Hanson (Fredericton, NB). Jones responded with a 7-5 win over Thompson. Jones won 7-3 against New Brunswick's Zack Eldridge in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Superstore Monctonian Challenge Championship title, Jones earned 3.750 world rankings points along with the $2,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 16 spots the World Ranking Standings into 131st place overall with 14.883 total points. Jones ranks 132nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 9.375 points earned so far this season.
