In their opening game, Manuel defeated Brody Hanson (Fredericton, NB) 8-3, then won 10-7 against Colten Steele (Dartmouth, NS) and 6-3 against New Brunswick's Zack Eldridge. Manuel went on to lose 6-5 against Kendal Thompson (Halifax, NS) in their final qualifying round match.
Manuel earned 1.813 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Superstore Monctonian Challenge, remaining in 57th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 64.439 total points. Manuel ranks 59th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 41.376 points earned so far this season.
