Timothy Verreycken (Zemst, BEL) finished 4-0 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Verreycken defeated Kjetil Bjoerke (Byddoey, NOR) 5-4, then won 7-4 against Lorinc Tatar (Budapest, HUN) and 7-1 against Joel Westerberg (Sundbyberg, SWE). Verreycken won 8-2 against Floris Ros (Zoetermeer, NED) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the WCT Belgium Men's Challenge, Verreycken take home 5.500 world rankings points along with the $1,500CDN prize, moving up 41 spots the World Ranking Standings into 142nd place overall with 12.750 total points. Verreycken ranks 133rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 11.250 points earned so far this season.
