To advance to the championship game, Neil/McDonald won 8-5 over Julia DiBaggio/Nicholas Visnich (Cleveland, OH) in the semifinals of the 2024 Cincinnati Mixed Doubles Cup in Cincinnati, Ohio, United States; and won 6-4 over Stephanie Senneker/Marcus Gleaton (Kalamazoo, MI) in the quarterfinals. of the 2024 Cincinnati Mixed Doubles Cup in Cincinnati, Ohio, United States;
 
Neil/McDonald finished 3-0 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Neil/McDonald defeated Anne Maynard/Matt Sussman (Toledo, OH) 6-4, then won 8-3 against Ashley Mayra/Jimmy Kirby (Detroit, MI) and 11-1 against Emily Potter/Brian Shimko (Cincinnati, OH) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Cincinnati Mixed Doubles Cup Championship title, Neil/McDonald earned 3.750 world rankings points along with the $1,800CDN first prize cheque. For week 20 of the event schedule, Neil/McDonald did not improve upon their best events, dropping from 37th to 41st place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 50.802 total points.
