Harrison Hrynew (New Westminster, BC) won 8-7 over Chris Parkinson (Comox Valley, BC) in the Final of the BC U20 Men's Championships, held December 27 - January 1, 2025 at the Cloverdale Curling Club in Surrey, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Hrynew won 13-3 over Colby Wilson (Prince George, BC) in the semifinals
Hrynew finished 2-2 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hrynew defeated Brennan Lougheed (Langley, BC) 9-4, then went on to lose 9-4 against Parkinson. Hrynew lost 9-3 to Roy Peters (Comox Valley, BC) where Hrynew responded with a 8-3 win over Matthew Harris (Campbell River, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
Hrynew ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
