Cameron de Jong (Victoria, BC) won 10-8 over Glenn Venance (Penticton, BC) in the Final of the BC Men's Curling Championships, Presented by Best Western, held January 20 - 25, 2025 at the George Preston Recreation Centre in Langley Twp, Canada. To advance to the championship game, de Jong won 8-5 over Jared Kolomaya (Richmond, BC) in the semifinals of the 2025 BC Men's Curling Championships, Presented by Best Western in Langley Twp, British Columbia, Canada;
de Jong finished 4-2 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, de Jong defeated Connor Deane (New Westminster, BC) 6-1, then went on to lose 8-5 against Kolomaya. de Jong responded with a 9-2 win over Brad Thompson (Kamloops, BC). de Jong went on to lose 7-3 against Deane. de Jong responded with a 10-7 win over Jay Wakefield (New Westminster, BC) to advance to the C-Qualifier where they 6-5 against Jason Montgomery (Victoria, BC) to advance to the playoff round. in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the BC Men's Curling Championships, Presented by Best Western Championship title, de Jong earned 11.250 world rankings points, moving up 4 spots the World Ranking Standings into 63rd place overall with 57.379 total points. de Jong ranks 59th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 45.750 points earned so far this season.
