Hood finished 2-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hood defeated Warren Kozak (Calgary, AB) 6-2, then won 7-3 against Andrew Hodgson (Reddeer , AB). Hood went on to lose 6-2 against Andrew Dunbar (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the McKee Homes Fall Curling Classic, Hood take home 5.500 world rankings points along with the $2,100CDN prize. For week 11 of the event schedule, Hood did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
