To advance to the championship game, Hood won 5-3 over Kevin Tym (Edmonton, AB) in the semifinals of the McKee Homes Fall Curling Classic in Airdrie, Alberta, Canada; and won 8-6 over Cole Adams (Calgary, AB) in the quarterfinals. of the McKee Homes Fall Curling Classic in Airdrie, Alberta, Canada;

Hood finished 2-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hood defeated Warren Kozak (Calgary, AB) 6-2, then won 7-3 against Andrew Hodgson (Reddeer , AB). Hood went on to lose 6-2 against Andrew Dunbar (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the McKee Homes Fall Curling Classic, Hood take home 5.500 world rankings points along with the $2,100CDN prize. For week 11 of the event schedule, Hood did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Hood ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
