Peterson finished 3-0 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Peterson defeated Cassidy Dundas (Winnipeg, MB) 8-1, then won 2-0 against Sass and 7-3 against Darcy Robertson (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the MCT Championships Championship title, Peterson earned 18.750 world rankings points along with the $2,500CDN first prize cheque.
