Calvert finished 2-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Calvert defeated Zachary Brenden (Bismarck, ND) 9-5, then won 2-0 against Hayden Forrester (Winnipeg, MB). Calvert went on to lose 2-0 against Grassie in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the MCT Championships Championship title, Calvert earned 11.250 world rankings points along with the $2,500CDN first prize cheque. Calvert move up 2 spots after posting a net gain of 2.391 points improving upon their best 7 results so far this season, ranking 30th overall with 111.219 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Calvert ranks 26th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 93.500 points earned so far this season.
