Martin lost 8-1 to Kaatz where Martin responded with a 6-5 win over Cheyenne Ehnes (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

Martin earned 8.500 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the MCT Showdown. Martin move up 3 spots after posting a net gain of 7 points improving upon their best 5 results so far this season, ranking 57th overall with 56.790 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
