In their opening game, Peterson defeated Emma Jensen (Winnipeg, MB) 8-4, then won 8-3 against Darcy Robertson (Winnipeg, MB) and 4-1 against Lane Prokopowich (Winnipeg, MB). Peterson won 9-6 against Lisa McLeod (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the MCT Showdown, Peterson take home 11.000 world rankings points along with the $1,500CDN prize. Peterson move up 4 spots after posting a net gain of 7.25 points improving upon their best 5 results so far this season, ranking 25th overall with 136.938 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Peterson ranks 23rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 85.625 points earned so far this season.
