Shuster finished 5-2 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Shuster defeated Chase Sinnett (Minneapolis, MN) 9-2, then won 8-3 against Timothy Hodek (Fargo, ND). Shuster went on to lose 8-7 against Daniel Casper (Chaska, MN). Shuster responded with a 11-6 win over Scott Dunnam (Philadelphia, PA). Shuster won 9-2 against Wesley Wendling (Chaska, MN). Shuster went on to lose 9-5 against Dropkin. Shuster responded with a 6-5 win over Ethan Sampson (Chaska, MN) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Shuster earned 25.500 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the USA Curling National Championships, remaining in 16th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of -23.563 after improving upon their best so far this season. Shuster ranks 16th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 150.750 points earned so far this season.
