Penny Barker (Moose Jaw, SK) won 7-5 over Michelle Englot (Regina, SK) in the Final of the Moose Jaw SaskTour Spiel, held November 22 - 24 at the Moose Jaw Ford Curling Centre in Moose Jaw, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Barker won 7-5 over Jessica McCartney (Saskatoon, SK) in the semifinals of the Moose Jaw SaskTour Spiel in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Canada; and won 9-2 over Amber Holland (Saskatoon, SK) in the quarterfinals. of the Moose Jaw SaskTour Spiel in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Canada;

Barker finished 4-0 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Barker defeated Diane Foster (Lloydminster, SK) 9-1, then won 5-3 against Brooklyn Stevenson (Regina, SK) and 8-3 against Holland. Barker won 8-4 against Saskatchewan's Brooke Verbeem in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Moose Jaw SaskTour Spiel Championship title, Barker earned 15.000 world rankings points along with the $1,600CDN first prize cheque. For week 17 of the event schedule, Barker did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Barker ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
