Lauren Wasylkiw/Shane Konings (Stouffville, ON) lost 9-5 to Tahli Gill/Dean Hewitt (Brisbane, AUS) in the Final of the JAMAICA CUP Mixed Doubles Cashspiel, held January 18 - 19, 2025 at the Dundas Granite Curling Club in Dundas, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Wasylkiw/Konings won 6-4 over Clare Moores/Lance Wheeler (Golden, CO) in the semifinals of the 2025 JAMAICA CUP Mixed Doubles Cashspiel in Dundas, Ontario, Canada; and won 7-3 over Michelle Roach/Adam Gilbert (Burlington, ON) in the quarterfinals.

Wasylkiw/Konings are currently 2-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Wasylkiw/Konings defeated Manon Paquette/David Daoust (Sudbury, NO) 7-1, then won 11-2 against Moores/Wheeler. In their next game, Wasylkiw/Konings plays.

With their runner-up finish at the JAMAICA CUP Mixed Doubles Cashspiel, Wasylkiw/Konings take home 16.500 world rankings points along with the $800CDN prize.
