To advance to the championship game, Hasselborg won 7-4 over Xenia Schwaller (Zurich, SUI) in the semifinals of the 2024 Womens Masters Basel in Arlesheim, Switzerland, Switzerland; and won 5-4 over Isabella Wrana (Sundbyberg, SWE) in the quarterfinals.

Hasselborg finished 3-1 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hasselborg defeated Ariane Oberson (Bern, SUI) 8-2, then won 8-2 against Italy's Rebecca Mariani and 5-3 against Laura Watt (Stirling, SCO). Hasselborg went on to lose 5-3 against Marianne Roervik (Lillehammer, NOR) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Womens Masters Basel, Hasselborg take home 27.500 world rankings points along with the $12,748CDN prize. For week 8 of the event schedule, Hasselborg did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
