Sylvie Quillian (Moncton, NB) won 8-4 over Kristen MacDiarmid (Halifax , NS) in the Final of the Superstore Lady Monctonian, held October 4 - 6 at the Curl Moncton in Moncton, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Quillian won 11-3 over Sarah Mallais (Moncton, NB) in the semifinals
Quillian finished 4-0 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Quillian defeated Nicole Arsenault-Bishop (Moncton, NB) 6-5, then won 7-2 against Cassidy Blades (Halifax, NS) and 6-3 against Brooke Godsland (St. John's, NL). Quillian won 8-2 against MacDiarmid in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Superstore Lady Monctonian Championship title, Quillian earned 7.500 world rankings points along with the $2,100CDN first prize cheque. For week 10 of the event schedule, Quillian did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Quillian ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
