Liscumb/Liscumb Runner-Up at St. Marys Mixed Doubles

Catherine Liscumb/Chris Liscumb (Ilderton, ON) lost 6-4 to Riley Sandham/Brendan Craig (Guelph, ON) in the Final of the St. Marys Mixed Doubles, held December 6 - 8, 2024 at the St. Marys Curling Club in St. Marys, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Liscumb/Liscumb won 7-6 over Pam Feldkamp/Damien Villard (Cambridge, ON) in the semifinals of the St. Marys Mixed Doubles in St. Marys, Ontario, Canada;

Liscumb/Liscumb finished 4-0 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Liscumb/Liscumb defeated Aline Fellmann/Chris Kovalchuk (Montreal, QC) 7-1, then won 10-4 against McKenna McGovern/Tanner Nathan (Sarnia, ON) and 9-7 against Julie Benson/Bret Jackson (Brighton, MI). Liscumb/Liscumb won 10-6 against Amy Henwood/Bryan Maude (Paris, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the St. Marys Mixed Doubles, Liscumb/Liscumb take home 8.250 world rankings points along with the $1,000CDN prize. For week 19 of the event schedule, Liscumb/Liscumb did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Liscumb/Liscumb ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
