Elaine Uhryn (Sault Ste Marie, ON) finished 1-3 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Uhryn lost 11-1 to Fay Henderson (Stirling, SCO), droppimg another game, 9-1 to Zoe Schwaller (Limmattal-Wetzikon, SUI) where Uhryn responded with a 7-5 win over Paulette Brown (North Bay, ON). Uhryn went on to lose 7-5 against Emma Artichuk (Sudbury, NO) in their final qualifying round match.

Uhryn earned 1.125 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 15 of the event schedule, Uhryn did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Uhryn ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
