Jasiecki finished 2-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jasiecki defeated Nicola Brand (Baden, SUI) 7-2, then went on to lose 6-2 against Axel Landelius (Mjolby, SWE). Jasiecki responded with a 8-3 win over Arnis Veidemanis (Riga, LAT) in their final qualifying round match.
