Epping finished 4-0 in the 25-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Epping defeated Carson McMullin (Eau Claire, WI) 9-5, then won 6-2 against Caden Hebert (Eau Claire, WI) and 7-3 against Trevor Bonot (Thunder Bay, NO). Epping won 9-1 against Chris Silver (Thunder Bay, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Duluth Cash Spiel Championship title, Epping earned 22.500 world rankings points along with the $9,334CDN first prize cheque. Epping gained 3 points improving upon their best 6 events, though dropped 2 spots on the World Ranking Standings into 14thplace overall with 211.416 total points.
