To advance to the championship game, Epping won 9-2 over Shinya Abe (Sapporo, JPN) in the semifinals of the 2025 Ed Werenich Golden Wrench Classic presented by The Lodge Sasquatch Kitchen in Tempe, Arizona, United States; and won 9-4 over Dustin Kalthoff (Saskatoon, SK) in the quarterfinals. of the 2025 Ed Werenich Golden Wrench Classic presented by The Lodge Sasquatch Kitchen in Tempe, Arizona, United States;
 
Epping finished 4-1 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Epping defeated Darren Campbell (Tempe, AZ) 8-0, then won 6-1 against Rene Comeau (Fredericton, NB) and 5-2 against James Grattan (Oromocto, NB). Epping went on to lose 6-4 against Kalthoff. Epping responded with a 6-2 win over Ethan Sampson (Chaska, MN) in their final qualifying round match.
