Jones/Laing finished 4-2 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jones/Laing defeated Hailey Armstrong/Billy Woods (Ottawa, ON) 6-1, then won 10-1 against Hanna Davis/Steve Davis (MISSISSAUGA, ON).
