Devon Wiebe (Winnipeg, MB) lost 8-4 to Jordon McDonald (Winnipeg, MB) in the Final of the MCT Curling Cup, held November 1 - 3, 2024 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. To advance to the championship game, Wiebe won 6-5 over Braden Calvert (Winnipeg, MB) in the semifinals of the 2024 MCT Curling Cup in Winnipeg, Manitoba; and won 8-6 over Brett Walter (Winnipeg, MB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2024 MCT Curling Cup in Winnipeg, Manitoba;

Wiebe finished 3-1 in the 14-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Wiebe defeated Marcus Titchkosky (Morden, MB) 8-5, then won 7-5 against Jed Brundidge (West St Paul, MN). Wiebe went on to lose 6-5 against Walter. Wiebe responded with a 8-4 win over Brad Thompson (Kamloops, BC) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the MCT Curling Cup, Wiebe take home 11.000 world rankings points along with the $1,600CDN prize. For week 14 of the event schedule, Wiebe did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Wiebe ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
