Lane Prokopowich (Winnipeg, MB) qualified for the 2024 MCT Challenge playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 5-1 against Lisa McLeod (Winnipeg, MB). of the 2024 MCT Challenge in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada;

Prokopowich finished 4-2 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Prokopowich lost 8-1 to Suhyeon Kim (Uiseong, KOR), then responded with a 6-5 win over Sarah-Jane Sass (Winnipeg, MB). Prokopowich went on to lose 6-5 against McLeod. Prokopowich responded with a 6-4 win over Emma Jensen (Winnipeg, MB). Prokopowich won 7-2 against Jennifer Clark-Rouire (Winnipeg, MB), then won 6-4 against Sass in their final qualifying round match.

Prokopowich earned 4.500 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the MCT Challenge. For week 11 of the event schedule, Prokopowich did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Prokopowich ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
