Lisa McLeod (Winnipeg, MB) won 6-3 over Suhyeon Kim (Uiseong, KOR) in the Final of the MCT Challenge, held October 11 - 13, 2024 at the St. Vital Curling Club in Winnipeg, Canada. To advance to the championship game, McLeod won 5-3 over Christine McMakin (Fargo, ND) in the semifinals of the 2024 MCT Challenge in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada; and won 5-1 over Lane Prokopowich (Winnipeg, MB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2024 MCT Challenge in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada;

McLeod finished 2-1 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, McLeod lost 7-5 to Patty Wallingham (Whitehorse, YK), then responded with a 6-5 win over Prokopowich. McLeod won 7-0 against Wallingham in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the MCT Challenge Championship title, McLeod earned 11.250 world rankings points along with the $1,700CDN first prize cheque. For week 11 of the event schedule, McLeod did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. McLeod ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
