Jessica Zheng (Niagara Falls, ON) finished 2-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Zheng defeated Marie-Jo Billo (Trois-Rivieres, QC) 8-1, then went on to lose 7-6 against Amelie Maheux (St-Bruno, QC). Zheng responded with a 7-4 win over Amber Gargul (Quebec, QC) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the GOLDLINE Victoria Mixed Doubles Championship title, Zheng earned 22.500 world rankings points along with the $1,200CDN first prize cheque. For week 10 of the event schedule, Zheng did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Zheng ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
