Sluchinski/Sluchinski finished 4-0 in the 14-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Sluchinski/Sluchinski defeated Kailee Popowich/James Gordon (Martensville, SK) 8-0, then won 8-1 against Maia Belway/Dave Belway (Salmon Arm, BC) and 9-8 against Anna Munroe/Steven Leong (Edmonton, AB). Sluchinski/Sluchinski won 9-8 against Julianna Mackenzie/Sterling Middleton (Vernon, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Hack2House Alberta Curling Series Doubles Event 1 Championship title, Sluchinski/Sluchinski earned 11.250 world rankings points along with the $1,375CDN first prize cheque. For week 17 of the event schedule, Sluchinski/Sluchinski did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Sluchinski/Sluchinski ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
