Kate Cameron (St. Adolphe, MB) lost 5-2 to Youbeen Park (Seoul, KOR) in the Final of the Hack2House Alberta Curling Series Event 1, held October 18 - 20, 2024 at the Beaumont Curling Club in Beaumont, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Cameron won 5-2 over Momoha Tabata (Sapporo, JPN) in the semifinals of the 2024 Hack2House Alberta Curling Series Event 1 in Beaumont, Alberta, Canada; and won 6-5 over Nicky Kaufman (Edmonton, AB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2024 Hack2House Alberta Curling Series Event 1 in Beaumont, Alberta, Canada;
 
Cameron finished 3-0 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Cameron defeated Bayly Scoffin (Whitehorse, YK) 1-0, then won 10-3 against Helen Williams (Sydney, AUS) and 9-6 against Kaufman in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Hack2House Alberta Curling Series Event 1, Cameron take home 16.500 world rankings points along with the $2,500CDN prize. For week 12 of the event schedule, Cameron did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Cameron ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
