Sixten Totzek (Fuessen, GER) won 5-3 over Dustin Kalthoff (Saskatoon, SK) in the Final of the Hack2House Alberta Curling Series Major, held September 12 - 15, 2024 at the Beaumont Curling Club in Beaumont, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Totzek won 7-3 over Trevor Bonot (Thunder Bay, NO) in the semifinals of the 2024 Hack2House Alberta Curling Series Major in Beaumont, Alberta, Canada; and won 7-5 over Reid Carruthers (Winnipeg, MB) in the quarterfinals.
 
Totzek finished 4-2 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Totzek defeated Rob Nobert (Vernon, BC) 7-5, then won 9-2 against Evan van Amsterdam (Edmonton, AB). Totzek went on to lose 9-6 against Yusuke Morozumi (Karuizawa, JPN). Totzek lost 6-4 to Anton Hood (Naseby, NZL) where Totzek responded with a 9-1 win over Mathias Genner (Kitzbuehel, AUT). Totzek won 6-5 against Glenn Venance (Penticton, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Hack2House Alberta Curling Series Major Championship title, Totzek earned 22.500 world rankings points along with the $6,900CDN first prize cheque. For week 7 of the event schedule, Totzek did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Totzek ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
