Michelle Hartwell (Edmonton, AB) qualified for the 2024 Ladies Alberta Open playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 8-7 against Yuina Miura (Nayoro, JPN). of the 2024 Ladies Alberta Open in Okotoks, Alberta, Canada;

Hartwell finished 4-1 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hartwell lost 7-2 to Kaylee McNamee (Calgary, AB), then responded with a 11-0 win over Chloe Johnston (Saskatoon, SK). Hartwell won 7-4 against Betti Delorey (Hay River, NT), then won 8-2 against Claire Booth (Edmonton, AB) and 12-3 against Sherrilee Orsted (Moose Jaw, SK) in their final qualifying round match.

Hartwell earned 6.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Ladies Alberta Open. For week 15 of the event schedule, Hartwell did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
