Yuina Miura (Nayoro, JPN) lost 7-6 to Kayla Skrlik (Calgary, AB) in the Final of the Ladies Alberta Open, held November 8 - 11, 2024 at the Okotoks Curling Club in Okotoks, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Miura won 7-2 over Nicky Kaufman (Edmonton, AB) in the semifinals of the 2024 Ladies Alberta Open in Okotoks, Alberta, Canada; and won 8-7 over Michelle Hartwell (Edmonton, AB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2024 Ladies Alberta Open in Okotoks, Alberta, Canada;

Miura finished 3-1 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Miura defeated Kellie Stiksma (Sherwood Park, AB) 5-3, then went on to lose 8-3 against Kaufman. Miura responded with a 7-3 win over Suhyeon Kim (Uiseong, KOR). Miura won 7-3 against Vanessa McConnell (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Ladies Alberta Open, Miura take home 11.000 world rankings points along with the $2,400CDN prize. For week 15 of the event schedule, Miura did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Miura ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
